Parish Church Mariä Himmelfahrt Schirgiswalde

The catholic parish church with Glockenspiel, built 1735 to 1741, depicts a rare example of bohemian country baroque in our region. Well worth seeing is the altarpiece, which depicts the Himmelfahrt Mariä as well as the pulpit in a style towards the rococo and the only from 1866 to 1868 built neo gothic towers.
The church is open during summer daily from 8am-6pm, in winter daily from 8am to dusk. By telephone arrangement also outside the stated times.
