Baroque Palace Oberlichtenau

image author: Peter Henning At the foot of the Keulenberg in the nature preserve Westlausitz is the baroque palace Oberlichtenau situated. It was built in the year 1724 and has an enchanting golden baroque hall. Ther park area was created in French and English style.
The palace has been owned since 1744 by the Earl Heinrich von Brühl. After that it changed hands often. It was used as a children's home from 1948 to 2005.
Today it serves as a platform for a diverse art and culture programme and as a romantic ambiance for registry office weddings. It can also be used for seminars and conferences.
