At the Königsbrück village Stenz, pilgrims on the ecumenical pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela (Jakobs' Path) are able to use a hostel of a special kind - the community hall, built by the community in 1826 for the village's poor people. It has been reconstructed in painstakingly detailed work by the Heritage Society Königsbrück und
Umgebung e. V. It is now the little museum "Armenhaus Stenz".
The top floor offers space for three beds with straw mattress; the small parlour at the ground floor can be heated with an open fire place and is used as meeting room.
The museum with information about community history can be visited every 1st Sunday in a month from 2pm - 4pm and by arrangement.
