A trip with a hot-air balloon is an experience for everybody
and a great present idea, more than 3 hours adventure and in addition a nobility title, at any season, weather permitting.

We are ballooning the whole year round in good weather that means no rainfall and only little wind on the ground. Ballooning is also possible in winter and this season is especially attractive as clear air offers much more sight. But the main season is April to October. Ballooning in these months is only possible early in the day or in the evening.
Balloonists are early risers as just in the first hours after sunrise the weather conditions are best for a balloon trip. An alternative are the last 2 to 3 hours before sunset.

Where does the trip take you?
A balloon is not manoeuvrable - the direction is dictated by the wind.
Dress tip: casual wear depending on weather and proper shoes, ankle-high if possible as we may land on a wet field. It is quiet and calm inside the basket during the trip as the balloon is carried by the wind. This is the reason that nobody will get seasick.
It is much warmer inside the basket as on the ground as there is no wind in the basket (the balloon moves with the wind) and in addition a mighty burner heats up the air above your heads.

Our gift-vouchers are very popular for centenary birthdays, confirmations, weddings and other jubilees. You can order the gift-vouchers without surcharge by phone, fax or via our booking form in the Internet. Then the gift-voucher will be send to your home without our sender address or advertisement and can so surprise your presentee yourself. The voucher has a separate invoice and we asked you to pay forthwith. Only then are we able to arrange a start date. I you like, we can send the gift-voucher, for a small surcharge of 15,- €, in a miniature balloon with ceramic basket, which is ideal as a present.

How do I get a date?
The start date can be choosen freely. The voucher owner should get in touch with us either at the start of the season or after receiving the voucher to book a date. Otherwise we will contact the passenger by phone some days up to three weeks prior to planned start and agree upon a concrete start day. As we have to rely on current weather reports, sometimes we often only know 3 hours whether we are actually able to do the trip or the weather upsets our plans.
In any case will you receive a yes or no for the early morning dates the evening before respectively the evening dates around lunchtime by phone. Should a start be impossible then we will book a new date.
